| How it Works
The SAFESELECTTM Profiling System has two key components:
I. Personality Profiling:
There are certain characteristics that an employer will want to know about those who will be responisble for caring for others. Among these are:
Working With Others
- Team orientation
- Interpersonal sensitivity
- Attitude towards implementing rules and policies
- Service suitability
Personal Attributes
- Level of honesty and integrity
- Maturity
- Ability to learn new information
- Capacity to accept responsibility
- Self awareness and insight
Psychological Adjustment
- Self Control
- Emotional fortitude
- Tolerance for stress
- Judgement under pressure
II. A Unique Interview System:
With extensive experience in screening job applicants for specialised roles, SAFESELECT has designed a uniquely powerful interview system.
The system has several techniques to encourage applicants to be more honest in their responses than would usually be expected.
There are also numerous techniques to detect the applicant who is consciously attempting to mislead the interview panel.
The characteristics examined in the personality profiling are also reviewed in more depth during the interview. Questions are designed to discover who this person really is, rather than what they know or who they say they are.
Research has demonstrated repeatedly that the best hiring decisions are made based on an integration of psychological profile data, a carefully structured interview and all other sources of information available.
